  • Who should join this program?
Anyone who works at a workforce training organization / provider who wants to accelerate their understanding and development of career pathways into the local green economy. Our participants are typically workforce development specialist or career advisors.
  • How does the application process work? Why do I need to apply?
Our application form should take you 5-10 minutes to fill out. The purpose of the form is to ask you some questions to make sure this program can be beneficial and helpful to you, and to ensure that the timeline of this cohort works with your upcoming quarter’s schedule.
  • Please tell me the dates & times for Cohort 3

  • How long is the accelerator program? What happens once I graduate?
The intensive training portion is 5 weeks. Once you successfully graduate from the accelerator training session, you are joining a life-long community of green workforce developers.
  • Do I need to know a lot about green jobs and climate policies to join?
Not at all! We encourage both green sector curious and well-versed workforce developers to join the program. We’ve found that both types of participants learned a lot from the program and from each other.
  • Do I need to take time off of work to participate in the accelerator?
You only need to take time off for the two in-person sessions. The accelerator program is built to easily fit into your work schedule and the virtual sessions allow for flexibility and remote participation. Only the two in-person sessions will require you to set aside time to gather with your cohort.
  • What if I need to miss one or two classes?
We understand that life happens and that you may need to miss a class or two. We offer recordings of the sessions and ask that if you miss a live session, you catch up async before the next week’s topics are introduced.
  • Will the schedule or topics change?
The schedule and topics are subject to change based on speaker availability, cohort needs, and emerging industry developments. While we aim to follow the planned curriculum, slight adjustments may be made to ensure the best learning experience. Participants will be notified in advance of any significant changes.
